Water Quality & Heavy Metal Study

Field-based sampling and laboratory analysis to assess aquatic health, pollution levels, and ecological risks — including heavy metal bioaccumulation in fish that may impact food safety and biodiversity.

Environmental Genetics Study

Advanced molecular tools to detect biodiversity and environmental threats through non-invasive methods. Services include environmental DNA (eDNA), metagenomics, metabarcoding, and microbial community profiling — supporting accurate ecological diagnostics and conservation planning.

Biodiversity & Ecological Research

NATURETECH delivers science-led research to protect, manage, and restore ecosystems. Our team specializes in field-based biodiversity surveys, advanced ecological data analysis, and community-integrated resource studies across diverse landscapes. Every project is grounded in robust methodology and tailored to local context.

Biodiversity & Ecological Surveys

Field-based surveys across multiple taxa covering large and small mammals, fish, benthic macroinvertebrates (benthos), birds, herpetofauna (snakes, frogs, and lizards), insects, and flora. Our work supports conservation planning, checklists, baseline studies, and environmental monitoring in diverse ecosystems.

Ecological Data Collection & Analysis

Systematic collection and interpretation of ecological field data to uncover patterns in biodiversity, species distribution, and habitat health. Using robust sampling methods and statistical tools, NATURETECH translates raw field data into actionable insights for conservation and impact evaluation.

Ethnobiology & Resource Use of Indigenous People (Orang Asli)

Collaborative research exploring the traditional ecological knowledge and natural resource use of Malaysia’s Indigenous Peoples (Orang Asli). These studies highlight cultural relationships with biodiversity and support inclusive conservation, sustainable livelihoods, and indigenous-led stewardship.

Forest Rehabilitation & Management

Science-based approaches to restore degraded forest ecosystems and enhance biodiversity. NATURETECH designs and implements reforestation plans, native species planting, and long-term monitoring strategies to support ecological resilience and sustainable land use.

Nature Based Solutions & Community Engagement

NATURETECH delivers inclusive, ecosystem-based approaches that strengthen biodiversity while empowering people. We work closely with stakeholders and local communities to implement nature-based interventions that are sustainable, measurable, and grounded in both science and culture.

Invasive Species Management

Assessment, control, and removal of invasive species that threaten native biodiversity. Strategies include targeted removal, habitat restoration, and stakeholder training to support ecosystem recovery. Focus species include redclaw crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus), pleco (Pterygoplichthys spp.), tilapia (Oreochromis spp.), African catfish (Clarias gariepinus), red-eared slider (Trachemys scripta elegans), and Asian red-tailed catfish (Hemibagrus wyckioides).

Stakeholder & Community-Driven Conservation

Collaborative conservation programs co-developed with local communities, NGOs, and stakeholders. Focuses on capacity-building, participatory planning, and culturally sensitive approaches to stewardship and ecosystem management.
